Marina del Este (1980)

This project is located in Punta de la Mona, municipality of Almuñecar.

The plot surface is 254.750 m2 and has a 30% slope and dramatically plunges 100 m into the sea.

109.780 m2 of buildable surface are in form of four settlements: The sporting port with a mirador restaurant, a maritime village, a mountain village with its tennis and equestrian club and a spa hotel.

The project is emphasised because of the Mediterranean landscape form by pine, olive, carob and almond trees. As the towering landmark of the marina, a massive rock accommodates a restaurant-observatory.

The marina is organised to afford the public and private spaces.
