Puente Romano (1978)

The project is located in the city of Marbella between the national road CN-340 and the Mediterranean sea, along the Nagüeles stream. The project is 55 km from the Málaga airport. The plot surface of 255.057 m2, has a minimum slope of 30 meters to the sea, of which 107.820 m2 are built in form a village hotel with its apartments and a tennis club.

It is divided into three sequences with three different orientations. The first one is the principal "vacío" which contains the commercial and social activities.

The second sequence is an "espacio vacío" organised around a pool, a poolhouse and a "chiringuito" which are surrounded by residences and hotel rooms.

The third sequence is form with two or three level summer guest rooms.

There is another sequence that shapes and forms an espacio vacio that surrounds a pool and connects the complex to the sea.

The vehicle access is restricted to the perimeter of the property so it lets the exclusive domain of the central garden as the pedestrian pleases, providing peace.
